So I know many of you have heard this story by now, (or a similar story) but it was so just so funny!
SO the other day we were at my moms we were just kinda sittin around waiting for Lara to get home. Coleman was getting frustrated that every ounce of attention wasnt on him...sooo.. To get my attention he started to slap the couch Oh Jam! Jammit! Oh Jam! (yes he has even learned to add the it to the end and everything, makes it sound so much worse!) well this did get my attention because he likes to egg me on. He has been in the BAD habit of saying the D.A.M.N word because he heard it on a show we were watching, he know how to use it in context and everything. (we at our house would never say such words, so I know that he couldnt have ever heard either of us say that...ya hmmm...)

So anyway I was getting mad at him "stop saying that! it doesnt sound nice, I know what you are actually saying without saying it." He just kept going.. Oh Jam! Then he would stop and look at me, I was trying to put on my MOST disapproving face I could muster at the moment, and then he would say it a little bit slower OOOHHH JJJAAAMMM! So I finally got mad at him (reacted like he wanted me too, like I said egging me on) and he looked up at me and said Jam! Butters... Butters... butters... butters.. Like he was going to show me. At that point I lost the straight face battle and started to laugh.. Who couldnt.
He started that whole Butters thing because I would say to him " are you saying bad words?" he would tell me no and say what he was saying again. So then I would say "Oh ok you are just saying Jam, jam is ok, no BAD words. So now I have had to get mad at him about saying Jam too, he is just workin the system! UH man.. so now he has had to improvise even a little bit more by saying "Oh Butters!"
The whole two year old thing hasnt been so bad, however now he KNOWS how to push my buttons, and I have to remind myself "you are the grown up, SO GROW UP!" Its hard.. The screaming, hitting, and deliberate "I'll show you attitude" man its trying. So maybe having a girl after all would have put me over the edge...Im sure there would be alot more drama.. I think the boys are the way to go.. So next time you hear me say "Oh butters! " you will know why.. NO BAD words!
