Ok so this has only taken me 3 weeks to get this up on the blog.. but here it is. I'm not doing a whole lot of sleeping these days, so if I haven't called you yet, I am sorry I take every second I can to sleep, or just catch up on the house.
But
Baby Easton made it safe and sound on Sept. 18, 09 at 3:44pm Weighing in at
8 lbs 10 oz and 20 inches long. He has lots of dark hair, and is so so cute! The delivery went great.. not too much pushing. But the prep for delivery SUCKED! CAN I SAY THAT AGAIN SUCKED! The epidural was horrible. It took 3 times and each time I swear they hit a nerve, because I had awful shooting pain down the left side of my back. And as usual the IV... not to offend any of you nurses, but THEY NEVER KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING! THEY ALWAYS SAY, I HAVE BEEN DOING THIS FOR 30 YRS, OR 27 YRS, I'M A PRO.. HHAHAHAHAHAH! I HAVE YET TO MEET ONE. But again the delivery went wonderful and I had the best nurse in the world! Margie. I know that many of you knew that I was so worried about delivering up at Alta View, but I was totally surprised and shocked. THEY WERE AWESOME. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO ANY NEW MOM TO BE.
The last few weeks have been a total world-wind. I don't know how all you moms do it with more than one or two! I cant even find time to shower, or eat, its totally weird. I did forget how much I love it though. I love having a baby in the house. And Coleman has been such a good helper, and he says to him I will protect you. He doesn't want anyone to take him home with them. He says that Easton is his baby. He was so cute the other day and we were getting ready to go out and he said to me " can baby Easton come with us?" I love that he loves him so much. He will NOT HOLD HIM HOW EVER! We tried to get pictures of the two the other day and well you will see we got one and it did not turn out at all. oh well. we do have some cute pictures of the two of them separate.
I am so grateful that I have the opportunity to have children. I love it so much and am truly blessed to have the boys that I do. And some of you may ask, will you do it again? Of course the little precious baby gets here and how could I say no. So hopefully some day we will be able to have another. No amount of pain and crazy insanity could keep me from it again... You just forget that QUICK!

Congratulations! Easton is Beautiful. I think it is funny that you delivered at Alta View, which is near my house, and I delivered and Pleasant grove, which is (kinda) near your house. I am like you too, when I am pregnant I say "no more babies" but when they get here how could I not want another one. I don't know if I am ready to close the door on babies yet.
WOW! You're awesome!!! congrats on the baby, he's beautiful. You are so funny, I love that you don't try to beat around to bush...I like it.
Oh and I think Coleman is totally Dayhuff all the way!

Those pics are adorable. And oh my gosh Coleman is getting so big. I'm so happy for you and Mike. Enjoy every minute cause as you know it goes by way toooooooo fast

Alisa! How adorable is Easton. (and Coleman too). I have called and text you, but of course you were busy with that little guy. I forgive you! :) I can't wait to meet him, and Brooklyn asks about him all the time!
Oh my gosh I delivered at Alta View and I had Margie and she was seriously the best nurse in the world, I loved her!! I'm glad everything went well, congrats on your new baby!
